Golden Z Hamburg-Hanse

Golden Z Hamburg-Hanse is the student club of Zonta Clubs Hamburg-Hanse. We are about 20 university students with different majors who meet once a month to share our experiences, talk about feminist topics and learn from each other.

In our work, we try to incorporate Zonta's motto „Empowering women through service and advocacy“ on a smaller, local scale: Since 2021 we support the youth centre Mädchentreff Mümmelmannsberg for young girls as our service projekt, to actively help young girls and women here in Hamburg.

To live up to Zonta's goal of advocacy we created the Instagram channel @goldenzhamburg in 2019. Here, we inform regularly about feminist topics, for example the gender data gap or female genital mutilation.
